ממה ששמעתי הממיר נמצא במכון תקנים ועובר בדיקות מקיפות.
לא ידוע המחיר בישראל
המפיץ הודיע לפני כמה חודשים שזה יהיה במחיר טוב בארץ עם אחריות מקיפה.
בגלל תקלות שהתגלו בממירים בתקופה האחרונה.
הרבה התלוננו גם על התמיכה הגרועה של היצרן DUAL LABS
המפיצה באירופה ובמרזח התיכון הבטיחה לתת שירות ואחריות מקיפים וטובים.
יש התלהבות באירופה מהממיר
אבל כולם מפחדים מהשירות הגרוע של היצרן.
כולם יודעים של DUAL LABS אן תמיכה
ומי שיקנה את הממיר לבד בחול ימצא את עצמו בבעיה חמורה
לכן עדיף לקנות מהמפיץ בארץ עם אחריות אחרת נשארים עם ממיר ללא תמיכה
אם יתקלקל הוא לא יתקן את הממירים שהוא לא מכר בארץ
זה כנראה מה ש מנסה לעשות באירופה
נותנת תמיכה רק לממירים שהיא מוכרת ומפיצה בעצמה בעולם.
דבר שהביא למרמור לכל אלה שכבר קמו את הממיר בחנויות באיטליה.
וחלק גדול אכלו אותה מכיוון שהחנויות התכחשו לאחריות.
חלק שקנו דרך חנות היבואן ושלחו לא קבלו את הממירים גם אחרי חודשים ובטלו את העסקה.
הסבירה שהיא לא יכולה לממן יצרנים או טעויותהם של צרכנים
היא הדגישה שתתן אחריות בכל העולם אבל רק לממירים בהפצתה ולא תתקן או תתן שירות לממירים אחרים.
הסבירה שזכיונות ההפצה והשיווק עולים לה כסף רב
והיא למעשה ממנת את יצור הממירים וללא המקדמה ליצור עשרות אלפי הממירים היצרן לא יכל להוציא את הממיר בפועל.
זה קצת תמויה כי על פי רשם החברות באיטליה מחזיקה ב 65 ממניות היצרן האיטלקי.
לפי דעתי זה מעשה לא נכון של החברה מכיוון שהיא מורידה את האימון במוצר עצמו.
לפי שמועות בישראל כבר מחכים מעל 1000 ממירים מוכנים להפצה אבל ללא אישור ממכון התקנים הם לא מופצים.
התגלתה כנראה בעיה חשמלית בספקים שכנראה יאלצו להחליף אותם בארץ לפני קבלת האישור.
על פי מה שידוע שאת הממירים האלה לא ניתן לתקן בכלל
אפשר רק להחליף אותם
אז מי הטיפש שיקנה ממיר כזה בחול ולא בישראל?
בידיעה שאם תקרה תקלה מי שקנה בחול יאבד את כל כספו
ומי שקנה בארץ אצל היבואן יקבל ממיר חדש לחלוטין
וגם לאחר מכן יקבל שירות ותמיכה גם בתוכנות
שגם היצרן לא מתוון להפיץ אותם באופן פתוח
למרות כל הטענות שהם מםריחים אותם לאוויר

Make sure you have installed the version Stone 1.0.7 or further if you have a QBoxHD and 0.50 or further if you have a mini!
HARDWARE:
Make sure you have the second DVB-S2 tuner installed in your Qbox mini or QboxHD (So 2*DVB-S2 Tuner)
Make sure you have one antenna oriented on W3A (7° East) for SatSharing and connected to one Tuner DVB-S2 (no matter which one) to such antenna.
The other antenna must be set on the satellite you want to descramble between the supported satellites and connected to one Tuner DVB-S2 (no matter which one).
Final configuration for SatSharing:

OSN platform upgrade puts pay to piracy
Orbit Satellite Network is upgrading its conditional access platform to the Comvenient system in a bid to put an end to the piracy that has dogged the Middle East platform in recent years. Munich-based Comvenient is providing OSN with a secure silicon-based platform. The Betacrypt 2 product provides a return to a familiar name – Comvenient was spun out of the BetaTechnik, the former technical department of the Kirch Group, which used Betacrypt in the early days of the DF1/Premiere platforms.
Cliff Nelson, SVP Operations and Platform Development at OSN (Orbit – Showtime network), told Broadband TV News that the current Irdeto System 2 CAS would be removed on all Western Channels on December 19, 2010. This meant that those channels would no longer be able to be pirated using the “Dream-type” code word sharing boxes.
OSN will also be changing from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 DVB S2 during 2011. The platform is within days of completing its set-top box swap out with a Pace HD DVR (with 500 GB hard disk), Kaon HD zapper and UEC SD zapper all being deployed.
In Egypt, where consultation with the authorities is required, OSN has to choose between the Irdeto and Nagra platforms.
OSN was formed in July 2009 from the merger of the Orbit and Showtime platforms.
As long as this is free and many ysers can use it, then well done to Duolabs, remeber Qbox HD and Mini can allso be used as many other STB here that have Enigma2 or Linux, so the Satellite CS is a bonus for those that can not have internet or those that like to not use it.
HW on the box is fantastic on the MINI as i have tested this my self, but they need more images and addons and plug-ins, much more suport is need it for this box to gain any marked , as it is now they are allmost not known becouse end users need support and with out it the box is dead

Comvenient platform is in fact NDS platform rebranded as it's easier to enter Arabic world not showing it's NDS from Israel...
Its usage of satellite internet.
You cache the cw`s and then you make a udp broacast from the cache to the internet.
Or you can use ajax to auto refresh a web style site which again is transmitted through the internet.
But because the internet provider uses the satellite gateway then all data are transmitted all over europe-middle east.
Only thing you need to do. is lock the tuner on the internet transponder, prepare the soft to sniff some pids , get the data and filter by mac (because in there you will find the data from all sat internet users) ( like skygrabbing ).
At the same time you rebuild the packets on receiver side and you have the local cache ready and updated all the time.
The receiver can use ecm crc to check the cache or can use sat position-sid-frequency and check if the cache contains cw for that channel.
This is one of the simpliest ways to do it.
Also not easy to stop as this means the isp have to sniff and monitor the connection of the user which means is illegal in most of the countries..
Of course everything could be crypted or soft encrypted
