Support of Hauppauge and Technotrend simply sucks. They do not seem to be interested in the customer, only their money. Harmonic and Pentamedia appear to realize that customers are the most important factor and they offer better support

This sucks! Now, I am the only one not getting this to work in northern
europe again!

I never get FE_HAS_LOCK, FE_HAS_SYNC; only FE_HAS_POWER, FE_HAS_SIGNAL,
FE_HAS_CARRIER.

Can this be CAM-related? All content on my network needs a Viaccess CAM.
AFAIK, this has noting to do with the CAM at this stage?

Any hints on further debugging?

הלכנו לבדוק באינטרנט מה חושבים אנשים שקנו כרטיסים של טכנוטרנט TECHNOTREND
ככה מי שעוד לא קנה שלא יאכל אותה כמו מי שכבר קנה וומצטער על זה כל יום
מסתבר שהחברת מוכרת את הכרטיסים ואח"כ אן תמיכה
והכרטיס הוא כרטיס עם מלא בעיות באגים ותקלות וחברת האם לא כותבת לו תוכנות בכלל.
ולא מתקנת את הבעיות
ובארץ מחיר הכרטיסים אלה מאוד יקרים ולא שווים דבר .
כפי שהגדיר זאת הכי טוב עורך אתר גדול בנושא כרטיסי לווין
אל תכנו מוצרי וכרטיסי טכנוטרנד זה זבל של כרטיסים ללא שירות בכלל

I've just purchased a TT-budget S2-3200 since it is one of the very few brands that has Win XP x64 drivers.

Everything looks good, but I find this card or its drivers to be pretty unstable and I want to share it with this community in case this happens to someone else too.

I've already tried several programs, but I'm mainly using DVB Viewer Pro v3.9.0 and DVB Dream and they work correctly but all these programs hang up very easily whenever I make some "weird" actions like when there is no cable plugged in or when I tune a channel that has no signal.
There are many other examples when I just get a program freeze, and I don't think it's these programs' fault.
Once the program freezes I usually have to kill the process (not responding), and then the S2-3200 becomes unusable until I reboot the machine. That's really annoying.

Is anyone else having similar isues with this card + OS + diver version setup?
Are these drivers (5.0.0.6) still beta? That would explain (I guess) ...

mate you have just joined the wonderful annoying world of technotrend .
program freezes have happened on every driver technotrend has developed. it cracks me up too
i think thats why these drivers will never be digitally signed because if they were the drivers would work properly.
the drivers are and always have been poorly written but all we can do is tell technotrend our issues in the hope they get it right next time.

i just wonder how many lost sales and bad reports of technotrend it takes ,before they catch there selves on

Also, i have TT 3200and is no good, i will try in many pc, but the hd result is always the same not good image.
The motion is slowly and miss some frame.
For now don't buy!!

גםלטכנוכראד אן נציג סתם חאפר שמביא כרטיסים מדי פעם.
לא שווה להם בכלל ליבא לארץ כי מי כמה כבר קונים
אותו חרטטן שמיבא את הכרטיס ומוכר ביוקר לא נותן שירות בארץ לכרטיסי טכנוטראנד
אם נדפק לך הכרטיס הוא במקרה הטוב שולח לחול ותחכה חודש או חודשיים להחלפה.
אני מקווה שקנית את הכרטיס בחול ולא בארץ.
אם קנית בחול עשית טוב.
האם היה לך כרטיס של טכניסאט ואתה מדבר מניסיון?
כי לי היה ויש כל סוגי הכרטיסי של טכניסאט ומספר כרטיסים של טכנו...
אני מדבר מניסיון כשזה היה לי במחשב ולא מחרטט.
בניגוד לכמה אחרים שסתם בשביל זה להעביר כמה מילות בקורת על הכרטיס.
הטכניסאט סקאי סטאר2 הוא הכרטיס הטוב בעולם בכל המובנים ובכל התחומים .
לעולם לא יהיה כרטיס טוב יותר.
את הכרטיס הזה מי שהמציא אותו זה ישראלים שעברו לגרמניה והקימו את טכניסאט עם שותפים גרמנים.
יש יותר ישראלים שעבדים בטכניסאט מאשר אצל כל יצרן או מפתח בתחום הלווין שאני מכיר בעולם.
חברה רצינית נותנת לחברה רצינית ליצג אותה ולא לחאפרים
לטכניסאט יש שם מאוד חזק בעולם וחבל שכמה ישראלים טפשים יהרסו לה אותו בגלל שם גרוע.
אף אחד לא מונע מיבואן לקנות ממנה 100 כרטיסים מי פעם
בעבר חברת BSAT יבאה את הכרטיס אבל השוק בארץ קטן הכרטיס היה והינו להיט.
יש לי כרטיס כזה קרוב ל 10 שנים מאז החלפתי הרבה מאוד פעמים ממירים אבל הכרטיס הזה נשאר ועובד כמו חדש ללא תקלה אפילו פעם אחת בלי באגים או תקיעות .
