Les entreprises qui plus est en pleine transformation numérique maîtrisent rarement le flot d’informations disponible sur elles, et l’arme que cette information représente. Le jeu a donc pour objectif de prévenir et d’informer sur la Fraude au Président ou aux faux ordres de virement en en montrant les coulisses. Il a vocation ainsi à en limiter les impacts.

(12 Feb 2020) The Paris trial of French-Israeli conman Gilbert Chikli entered its last day on Wednesday as he denied being involved in a scam that saw a group of fraudsters amass over 50 million euros between 2015 and 2016.
Chikli is known as the inventor of the President scam – a scheme used by crooks passing themselves off as bank CEOs to con their victims out of millions of dollars.
He stands accused in Paris of impersonating French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian to convince his targets to pay to get French hostages released. The hostages didn't exist but the money transfers were real.
His lawyer says his reputation alone explains why he was brought to the stand but the evidence says otherwise.
"He stands accused because of the image that the police and, to a certain extent, himself created, that is, the image of the inventor of this kind of scam," said Stéphane Sebag. "To say that he carried it out is a stretch, but the police and the judicial system are willing to believe that," he added.
Sebag told the AP the audio recordings produced by prosecutors could not be considered as proper evidence.
"There is no such thing as a voice print in the same way you might have a DNA fingerprint or a graphological print and all you have are similarities or differences", Sebag said, insisting it was not his client's voice.
A French-Israeli citizen, Chikli was tried in absentia in 2015 and sentenced to seven years in prison for his fake president scams - 33 banks were targeted for a total of 7.9 million euros.
He fled to Israel but was finally arrested in Ukraine two years later, in August 2017, along with another suspect who was in court with him on Wednesday.

This is the story of a Franco-Israeli con artist pair, Gilbert Chikli, 54, and Anthony Lasarevitsch, 35, the masterminds of a €50m fake identity scheme that involved impersonating France’s former defense minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian by wearing silicone masks.

Chikli would fake France’s defence minister’s voice when making calls to well-researched targets, asking them with an insistent tone to lend the government millions of euros so it could save French citizens detained by terrorists in Syria. The fake Mr. Le Drian explained that the government doesn’t usually send ransom to terrorists. That’s why the defense minister was using an alternative way just to make sure fellow citizens were saved from the terrorists’ hands.
Chikli and his accomplice had also formed a team that mimicked the real defense minister’s team of assistants. The group followed up initial calls with emails and documents bearing letterheads and addresses that looked official to try and maintain contact with the targets until they sent money. Also, they sent bank details of bank accounts in countries like China and Poland.
