DIALOGUE, SOFIA - Bosnia & Herzegovina (B&H) is likely to have a strategy for digitalisation in place next year, according to Amer Dzihana and Emina Beslagic of the NGO Media Center in Sarajevo.
Although the country established a DTT forum in 2006, it has yet to even start trials. Dzihana and Beslagic added that public service broadcasting (PSB) will play a key role in the digitalisation process despite itself being highly complex and financially not viable.
There are currently three national PSBs in B&H, along with 15 publicly owned regional and local stations.
