An unmanned Progress MS-06 supply ship was launched into space by a Soyuz-2-1a rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Wednesday, to deliver almost three tons of food, fuel and supplies to the International Space Station (ISS).
The cargo spacecraft is expected to dock at the ISS Zvezda module on Friday, taking two days to reach the station. This is the second Russian cargo mission this year to the ISS.
It will return to the Earth's atmosphere in December, for a destructive re-entry over the Pacific Ocean.
