(very simple), and I thought I would share the information with you so that everyone knows how to record to PC hard disk (without having to
install an external disk to receiver). By the way.. I have 91HD, no external hard disk.
- I am using Sifteam r10513, from streaming player menu, use server ip as 224.1.1.2, Port 1234
- At your PC, download VLC player version 0.8 (Not version 1.0 as v1.0 is complicated and not friendly at all).
- To just watch the TV in VLC player, open VLC... File, Open Network Stream, put a mark on UDP line, write the ip 224.1.1.2, port 1234, and
press OK. This will display the TV channel on VLC.
- To record on your hard disk, do the previous steps and, from the same Network stream page, mark Stream/Save and press "Setting".
- The setting page opens, where you mark "play localy" and "File", then in the File name field you write the destination file name; for example C:\test.
This will save the channel to file C:\test.wmv format.
- That's it.
I tested it and proved OK, even HD channels record excellent
