Several locations for the file are possible, e.g. /var/keys
If you do not have a configfile on your box (I think i had this problem, too some versions ago),
try to download current incubiscamd-package (0.55?), a config with basic instructions is included.
It connects to my local cccam-server (2.0.11), even HD channels work (I have a premiere NDS card).
Configuration is a bit tricky, I had to insert the server-address several times until it worked for me.
