Iran tests Talash anti-air missile systems
Iran tested its state-of-the-art missile systems in its large-scale air defense drills codenamed Modafe’an-e Aseman-e Velayat 7 in the Southern parts of the country on Wednesday.
Wednesday’s military drills included the participation of the forces debuting the Talash (Endeavor) missile defense system on the Southern Khark Island to destroy mock intruding drones, told Fars News Agency.
On Tuesday, two home-made missile defense systems, Talash (Endeavor) and S-200, were deployed in Southern Iran during the second day of massive air defense drills underway in the region.
This is the first time that a Talash missile defense system has been deployed in the Southern parts of the country.
The two defense shields are due to fire missiles at simulated enemy targets in the next stages of the 5-day wargames.
