Toshiba has joined the foray with its own 3D offering alongside a new premium LED series.
Toshiba has finally entered the 3D battleground with it's REGZA WL series; three brand new super slim full HD 3D LEDTVs all using active-shutter technology.
The REGZA WL series comes in three sizes the 40", 46" and the 55" beautifully compacted into a ultra slim design that's only 2.89cm thick. All offer the same 1080p full 3D HD, 7,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 200MHz refresh rate. Of course that's not enough, so Toshiba have also included WiFi with integrated YouTube and BBC iPlayer applications along with Freeview HD.
Toshiba has also released its premium REGZA VL series of LED TVs that offer full 1080p high-definition and an impressive 100MHz refresh rate. Featuring the same built in HD Freeview tuner's as those found on the WL series these high-end LED TVs are coming out in 40" and 46".
Both the REGZA WL and the REGZA VL will be coming out October 2010 so it looks like they're going for the Christmas market, albeit a late one.
